We got our first LGDs in 2015. We started with an Anatolian Shepherd, Zeke, and a Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd, Zoey. Because we were impressed with their great personalities and their natural guarding instincts we decided to breed the two. These pups were truly versitale and went to homes ranging from indoor house companions to full time livestock guardians.
As time went by we wanted to breed a dog that focused on the livestock guardian qualities. We incorporated Valleigh into our program. Valleigh is 1/2 Anatolian Shepherd and 1/2 Great Pyrenees. She comes from a long line of proven natural guardians. Valleigh and Zeke had their a litter in 2020. These pups have proven to be exceptional in their natural instincts and loyal, reliable personalities.
Our breeding program has evolved and we are now moving toward breeding Turkish Boz Shepherds and Turkish Boz Shepherd mix. Currently we have Kadir a full Turkish Boz from imported parents. We will be breeding him with Valleigh starting in the Spring of 2021. We also added Azar. She is 1/2 Turkish Boz and 1/2 Anatolian shepherd. Azar's parents have great guarding instincts as well as being loyal and reliable companions for their humans. Also, in the Spring, a full Turkish Boz female will be joining our program.
Our goal is to breed working Livestock Guardian Dogs with strong natural instincts, reliable personalities, specific physical characteristics, and unparalleled versatility.
We are in the process of having our dogs OFA certified as well as Thyroid function and DNA tested. We are only interested in breeding healthly dependable dogs that carry the characteristics true to these breeds.
